These fudgy brownies come together in one bowl in just under and hour! Vegetable oil + melted chocolate keep them moist, while a little liquid coffee concentrate balances the sweetness, making these coffee fudge brownies dangerously irresistible.

I Bake these Brownies At Least Once Every Month
Spoiler alert: once you take a bite, you won't be able to step away from these coffee fudge brownies! The rich flavor + aroma of coffee enhances the sweet flavor of chocolate, making your brownies sophisticated and irresistible.
I love using liquid coffee concentrate, because it avoids the grainy texture of ground coffee. And it adds a much smaller amount of liquid compared to brewed coffee. Just a couple tablespoons does the trick to add a rich coffee flavor to any baked goods, without compromising on texture.
There's also two and a half bars of melted chocolate + vegetable oil (not butter) to ensure these brownies have a fudgy, moist texture for days, just like my Black Forest chocolate brownies. And optional white chocolate chips thrown in add a little crunch and extra sweetness. Sometimes I add dark chocolate or chopped nuts instead, since the world is our brownie oyster, my friends!

My Brownie Baking Tips
- Don't overmix your brownie batter, otherwise your brownies could end up tough. I gently mix the batter juuust until there are no dry flour pockets visible.
- To avoid overbaking your brownies, insert a toothpick into the center to check them. If the toothpick comes out with some moist crumbs but no liquid batter, they're ready to come out of the oven.
- Allow the brownies to cool for at least 30 minutes in the pan before cutting them. I've found that the longer they cool, the better they'll hold their shape.
- To get perfect slices, run a knife under hot water, wipe it dry then make a single slice into your brownies. Keep repeating this process for clean edges. Or watch my video for more tips on how to cut the perfect brownie slices.

More About Javy Coffee Concentrate
To be honest, I had never heard of coffee concentrate before I heard of Javvy. When I first opened the small glass bottle, it basically smacked me in the nostrils with the strong, floral aroma of Arabica coffee. There are just two ingredients - coffee and water. I like adding a teaspoon to milk to create an instantly delicious iced coffee. And since it's concentrated, I'm not wasting a bunch of plastic cups and containers. Yay!

Coffee Fudge Brownies
developed & tested by:
Ingredients
- 4 ounces milk chocolate, melted
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 to 3 Tablespoons liquid coffee concentrate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- ⅓ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch by 8-inch baking pan with butter.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the 4 ounces of milk chocolate at 30 second intervals in the microwave. Stir after each interval until it's fully melted.
- Whisk together the melted chocolate, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and liquid coffee concentrate.
- Add the sugar, flour, cocoa powder and salt. Gently mix everything with a large spoon or silicone spatula just until there remains no visible dry ingredients.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips or chopped nuts. Spread the batter evenly into the greased baking pan.
- Bake for about 30 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with some moist crumbs but no liquid batter. Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
Notes
- Instead of white chocolate chips, feel free to swap in semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts. Or leave them out altogether.
- Cooling: The longer your brownies cool, the better they'll hold their shape once you slice them.
- Storing: Store cooled brownies at room temperature in an airtight container for a few days. If I have extras (which rarely happens) I freeze individual slices wrapped in plastic wrap then aluminum foil.
