- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup sorghum flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ½ tsp salt
- scant ¼ tsp xanthum gum (optional - add if you like your brownies chewier and fudgier)
- ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts, or a mixture of both (optional)
