These no-bake chocolate bonbons are made with crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, and peanut butter coated in melted chocolate. They're crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and really easy to make.

These simple chocolate bonbons are inspired by the exploding bonbons from Harry Potter which I find dangerously irresistible. But I wanted to keep these simple so they don't require any baking or special ingredients, and they're ready in just 30 minutes!
Peanut butter mixed into the filling makes it easy to shape them into balls. And the melted chocolate coating keeps them moist on the inside, while making the outside nice and crunchy. I dyed white chocolate pink and red for these bonbons, but feel free to dye them a different color or swap in melted milk or dark chocolate for a richer flavor.

Trust me, these Harry Potter bonbons are the antidote to cure Hogwarts homesickness. But if you're still sad over not getting your Hogwarts acceptance letter, we can drown our sorrows together with the rest of my easy Harry Potter recipes.

Just Four Ingredients? Yes, Please!
- Peanut butter - Feel free to use any kind of creamy nut or seed butter. I tested these bonbons with peanut butter and sunflower butter, and both batches turned out delicious.
- Powdered sugar - This sweetens and lightens the filling so it's not too dense. Granulated sugar made them kind of gritty.
- Graham crackers - Adds structure for the filling along with a hint of cinnamon spice. You can substitute any crunchy, sweet biscuit or cookie like Biscoff or gingerbread cookies.
- Melted chocolate
Let's Make Chocolate Bonbons Together!

Tips from My Kitchen
- Work Quickly: When dipping your bonbons in melted chocolate, you want to work quickly. The melted chocolate can start to harden after a few minutes, which makes it more difficult to coat the bonbons.
- Candy Melts: Instead of melted chocolate, a great alternative I love using is candy melts. You can find them at craft stores or in the baking aisle, and they're easier to melt and work with.
- Melting Chocolate: You can either melt chocolate in a double boiler on the stove, or in the microwave. I prefer the microwave since it's faster and creates less dirty dishes.

Harry Potter Chocolate Bonbons
developed & tested by:
Equipment
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (from 12 whole crackers)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1½ cups creamy peanut butter
- 10 ounces white chocolate or milk chocolate
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil & set aside.
- Crush 12 whole graham crackers into crumbs either in a food processor or by smashing the cookies in a closed ziplock bag.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs. Add the creamy nut or seed butter and mix until it's fully combined.
- Roll the mixture into round balls that are about 1 inch in diameter & spread them out on the lined baking sheet.
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave on 15 second bursts, stirring after each time.Optional: if you want to have colorful bonbons, add food dye to melted white chocolate.
- Use spoons or forks to dip each shaped bonbon into the melted chocolate to fully coat it. Place them back on the baking sheet.
- Leave the bonbons out at room temperature for about 30 minutes at room temperature or 10 minutes in the fridge so the chocolate coating can harden. Enjoy!
Notes
- Storing: Store bonbons in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Looks fun, but I can't get the page to stay on the recipe long enough without a full page ad I can't close.

Hi Bradley, if you click "print" then it'll open the full recipe without any ads. I have to keep the ads on my site to earn a little income to pay for ingredients and supplies, I hope you understand! (:
